Cinquain Poetry - GT Library

Aquarium

Well-organized, artificial

Consuming, digesting, producing

Talking to yourself, working by yourself.

Individualism.

  1. Dear Blueberry Cellophane, your poetry continues to wake me up, become alert. I lean into what you have written and ask questions. At home in Taiwan, you were like "electricity" going one way. Here in Atlanta, are you missing the energy of your life in your hometown? Are you okay here? Is "talking to yourself, working by yourself" okay or desirable? Is it a bad thing, this "individualism"?

I find your writing intriguing, engaging, and challenging. I want more. I want to know you. I want to understand you. The images you choose to accompany your poetic words add a lovely layer.

Write me. Reveal a little but not all what these cinquains mean.

  2. Dear Ruth, I tried to write a place in the U.S. and in Taiwan where I feel familiar with.

In the U.S. I spend my afternoon a lot in GT library preparing the GRE test. I wrote down "talking to yourself and working by yourself" because everyone in library sit like in their own planet!

In Taipei, it's crowd city, sometimes I walked on streets and saw many people passed by, but I don't know them even we were in a short distance So...in streets in Taipei, I feel I am not one of the flow....

Anyway I'm fine in the U.S. or in Taipei. Now,I'm looking for more places in the U.S where will bring me different and fresh thinking in the future :)
