Something Back to Taipei City
In the early summer, I walked myself from a 24-hour bookstore back to my tiny college dorm in Taipei City.
The road I walked on with 8 lanes, it was wide in this narrow but big city.
It was almost midnight, but the city was still awake by the lights from some shops' window and road lamps.
Also, the city couldn't fall asleep by these passing cars and these busy cabs.
I breathed the most precious moment after being stirred all day, and thought about I would be back to my tiny dorm room.
I tried to slow my steps to reduce the time I should spend in my dorm with others,
my steps were so light, even forgetting all my assignments and tests behind...
I felt safe in this familiar city,
I felt free to speak everything.

ReplyDeleteActually at the moment I wrote down this journey I was at Barnes and Noble, which reminded me of the life I spent in bookstores in Taiwan!!
I found out in this way to release my thoughts is helpful for me.....
